Practice Fees
Lake Macquarie Medical Centre is a Private Billing practice.
This means all consultations with the doctors, face to face or telephone consultations, will attract a private fee. This includes follow up consultations. A discounted rate is offered to centrelink concession card holders.
All fees are to be paid at the time of the appointment.
Upon making payment your claim will be sent to medicare for processing. Medicare will deposit the rebate amount back to your nominated bank account.
These fees and the medicare rebate amounts are listed in the table below.
All Chronic Disease Management Plans and Health Assessments will continue to be Bulk Billed
Children 9 years of age and under and concession card holders over 75 years of age will be Bulk Billed conditionally.

NON ATTENDANCE FEES: If you fail to attend an appointment, face to face or telephone appointment, a non attendance fee of $60.00 will apply. This amount will need to be paid prior to booking any further appointments.

Practice Information
Patients to contact the practice regarding ‘Home & Other Visits’. If home visits are not possible, the practice will offer alternatives to patients, such as telehealth or referral to nearby Urgent Care or GP After hours.
